2nd Year Anniversary: Osun EHOAN extol Governor Adeleke’s remarkable achievements

The Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN) Osun State Chapter, has hailed Governor Ademola Adeleke for his remarkable achievements and for turning Osun State into construction sites and viable economy withing 24 months (2 years) in office after he was elected by the people of the state.
According to the EHOAN State President, Sanitarian Ola Sunday Olufemi and Secretary, Sanitarian Akinola Raphael Olutayo in the association’s congratulatory message to Governor Adeleke on the celebration of his 2nd-year in office and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Osogbo, said that it is important to celebrate the Governor and his team for doing wonders and for not failing to perform excellently.
Despite the numerous challenges militating against the country, it is impressive that the Governor is not deterred or discouraged from doing what is necessary, particularly, turning Osun economy around”, the association asserted.
The Osun EHOAN said, “This is a very good indices that the state is being pivoted and piloted by a competent hand like Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke”.
On how economic activities in the state has faired in the last two years, the EHOAN pointed out that from it assessment, the numbers of new businesses and entrepreneurs in Osun State has increased since Governor Ademola Adeleke was sworn in two years ago. This, it said is as a result of investors seeing the state as viable and even more enticing.
The Osun EHOAN also thanked the good people of Osun State for being patient with the Governor by allowing him to reposition and stabilize the state which is a great ingredient for the current peaceful coexistence in the entire state.
The association also applauded the Governor for his positive stance on improved sanitation, construction of 332 functional motorized boreholes in 332 wards of the state as first phase and another 332 motorized boreholes in all wards nearing completion, upgrade of health care facilities, prompt payments of salaries to civil servants, pension and gratuity to pensioners, and clearing of backlog of half salaries left by previous administration.”
It is highly commendable that while the governor is working round the clock to revive the state economy through friendly business environment and provision of supporting infrastructures, he is also not neglecting stomach infrastructure, and timely payments of salaries, promotion of civil servants, repositioning the civil service among others.
“We believe that at the end of his first four year tenure, he would have laid a solid foundation which will be built upon in the next chapter for consolidation,” the association said.
