The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Galaxy Backbone Limited, Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the 61st Independence Anniversary.
In a press release issued by the company’s Media and Protocol Unit, Professor Abubakar commended Nigerians for sustaining sovereign unity of the country despite diverse religions, regions and cultural origins.
In his words, “1 October is the reflection of the virtues and sacrifices of our founding fathers, the occasion does not only remember their labour, but abreast Nigerians to emulate their heroism to structure the country we bash around to create wealth and be brothers keepers.
“Nigeria like any other colonies of the world, faced myriad challenges before, during and after independence: military involvement in the political spectrum that deters democratic evolution and its intrinsic dividend among others.”
According to the Galaxy Backbone CEO, democracy has come to stay in Nigeria.
