Alabere lauds Gov Adeleke’s developmental programme

The Alabere of Abere-Ede Kingdom, Osun State, Oba Adefemi Mutalib Adelakin on Monday lauded the first year administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the state, describing it as uncommon in the history of governance in the state.
The Alabere disclosed this with our Correspondent while speaking on the activities to herald his one-year coronation anniversary which is expected to be held very shortly in his palace.
The traditional ruler said what Governor Adeleke’s administration has accomplished in his one year in office will take another government 5years to achieve in the area of road network, and welfare packages, among others.
Oba Adelakin who urged the incumbent administration in the state to extend the social infrastructural facilities to his community noted that in the last year, the state has witnessed all-round development as never before in its history.
“There is no doubt about it that our amiable Governor Adeleke’s coming is divine. No one can defeat whom God has supported. Let us continue to rally support for his government ” Alabere said.

The monarch enumerated some of his achievements within the one year he got to the throne as, the construction of a Police post, the creation of a modern weekly market, and the construction of an ultramodern palace just to mention a few, called on the governor to intensify efforts on security in the state so that the peace being enjoyed by the people can be sustained.
According to Alabere, “I am using this medium to call on Governor Adeleke to join hand with me in completing the Abere Police station which is currently under construction, our maternity building is in dilapidated condition which is calling for total upgrading by the state government, we need Secondary Schools as well while we shall be happy if the government can give us a transformer as Abere community is expanding every day and our roads are impassable both the township and Abere to Ede road is in deplorable condition for motorists plying the roads”
Alabere expressed appreciation to Kabiyesi, the Timi of Ede land, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1, residents of the Abere community, friends, and family for their unalloyed support to him.
Oba Adelakin however promised that he would continue to use his Obaship position to promote peace, unity, and progress in his community.
