Army carries out battle simulation exercise

A battle simulation exercise is set to take place in Abuja at Army Headquarters Garrison as part of the preparations for the Inter Formation Combat Platoon Obstacle Crossing Competition in 2023.

Lt.-Col. Njideka Agwu, the Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations at AHQ Garrison, made this announcement on Monday in Abuja.

Real-time war field simulations and activities will be a part of the exercise, according to Agwu, which will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday at the 7 Guards Battalion Obstacle Course, Lungi Barracks in Abuja.

She therefore urged members of the public who reside around Maitama, Asokoro, AYA, and the environs not to panic but to go about their normal respective businesses.

According to her, the battle sounds would not raise any security concerns while all necessary safety measures have been put in place.
