The Atoba family of Obaagun in the Ifelodun local government area of Osun State have urged wealthy Nigerians and leaders to be concerned about the plight of the underprivileged in the society.
This call was made by the head of the family, Prince Engineer Akeem Atoba while on behalf of the family congratulating one of their illustrious son, Prince Lukuman Adewale Jimoh, who bagged a Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting at Kwara State University, Malete.
Engineer Atoba urged wealthy Nigerians and leaders to alleviate poverty by assisting the needy in society.
The Atoba family head harped on caring for the needy, stating the need for Nigerians to be humane in delivering service for the progress and development of society saying the new scholar has been equipped with the qualities.
Engineer Akeem salutes the new scholar for his contributions to the development of Obaagun, family, and humanity, encouraging him not to deviate from the legacy the father (late Jimoh Atobatele) left behind as he should continually be involved in humanity’s development.
While urging others to emulate him in giving succour to the less privileged, the family head, further retreated that Dr. Atoba has proven himself to be a dedicated and diligent scholar throughout his educational career as his pursuit of knowledge and commitment to excellence have been exemplary.
“As the head of the Atoba dynasty, I am particularly pleased to express our joy and admiration for Dr. Wale Atoba’s accomplishments. With great determination, he has carved a path for himself in the academy. The family have watched him grow and flourish academically, and his accomplishments bring immense pride and joy to our family,” he said.
Prince Wale Atoba, as famously called, was among the graduates celebrated by the famous institution at the combined 10th and 11th hybrid Convocation, held on 16th December 2023 at the Convocation Venue Arena of Kwara State University, Malete.
While dedicating the achievement to God and his parents, Dr. Wale Atoba appreciated those who have contributed to the success recorded in his life as well as the unalloyed support extended to him during the period of the programme. He noted that without this, the story may not be richly published.
