Bellarmine Mugabe, Youngest Son of Former President, Arrested After Hyde Park Shooting
South African authorities have arrested Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, the youngest son of late former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, following a shooting incident at his family residence in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.

According to police reports, a gardener at the property was shot and rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Two individuals, including Bellarmine Mugabe, were detained for questioning as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Robert Mugabe, who passed away in 2019, ruled Zimbabwe for 37 years before being ousted in 2017. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the motive or potential charges in the case.
