He said the bags of rice were sponsored by the General Overseer of the Church, Rev. Joshua Talena, and the cash donations by a member of the church, who wants to bless widows to celebrate Christmas with their families.
He urged Christians to emulate Christ in showing love to the less privileged in the society, saying God’s blessings would abound in their lives for the act.
In his sermon, titled ‘No Carryover, ‘Moltolk urged Christians to make a decision to be God’s vessel for his Kingdom advancement in 2022.
“God wants to see your heart in serving him. Do not rob God. All we need is to get along with God for direction and guidance,” he said.
The Cleric conducted a special prayer for the congregation against carrying the burden of labour without results in 2021 over to 2022.
Responding, one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Mary Micheal, thanked the church for the cash gifts and prayed for God to bless all those who contributed to the success of the outreach.
