Brigadier General Nwoko Supports Widows in Aniocha North on Christmas
In the spirit of Christmas, Brigadier General Kingsley Nwoko, the Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Intelligence, extended a helping hand to widows in Idumuje Ugboko and neighboring communities in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. As part of the celebration, Brigadier General Nwoko distributed palliatives to more than 300 widows, emphasising that this act of kindness was in memory of his late mother.

The Commandant, reflecting on the passing of his mother, Mrs. Beatrice Buno Nwoko, in October 2022, highlighted her significant role as a community leader in Idumuje. “Widowed for over 30 years, my mother became known for her accommodating nature and leadership within the United English Baptist Church in Kaduna, till her death last year. So, this is about keeping up her legacy,” He said as he shared bags of rice, wrappers, packets of Maggi, salt, handwash, and cash with the widows of Idumuje and its surroundings. He expressed his commitment to sustaining such gestures, ensuring the enduring impact of his mother’s compassionate spirit within the community.
