The event featured a panel discussion hosted by CODE’s Director of Program and Community Engagement, Uchenna Kingsley Agu, MPA, where participants explored themes of youth participation, civic engagement, and sustainable community impact. The discussion highlighted the achievements of CODE and its partners over the past five years.

Key outcomes of the initiatives include:

  • Strengthening Host Community Development Trusts (HCDTs) and oversight under the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA)
  • Advancing tax reforms to promote transparency and enhance community development
  • Establishing Civic Clubs in 19 schools across five states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), nurturing young civic leaders

CODE reaffirmed its commitment to empowering communities and youth, ensuring that the progress achieved through these programmes delivers lasting, meaningful impact.

These milestones underscore the organisation’s ongoing dedication to fostering accountability, civic responsibility, and sustainable development across Nigeria.
