Dangote Group, Driving Force Behind Gateway International Trade Fair, Says OGUNCCIMA

The Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA) has lauded the Dangote Group as the key driver of the Gateway International Trade Fair, attributing its sustained success to the conglomerate’s unwavering support.
Companies under the Dangote Industries Limited umbrella showcased their diverse products at the 13th edition of the Trade Fair held at the M.K.O Abiola Trade Fair Complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta. The event was officially opened by Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, President of OGUNCCIMA, Engr. Mike Akingbade, expressed gratitude to the Dangote Group for its continued sponsorship, stating, “A special commendation must be given to Dangote Industries Limited which has remained the major sponsor of the Gateway International Trade Fair for many years. The committed support of the Dangote Group is the elixir with which the trade fair is activated, and OGUNCCIMA is eternally grateful for the wonderful gesture of the company.”
Akingbade emphasised the significance of the Trade Fair in expanding businesses’ reach, accessing new markets, and diversifying customer bases. He highlighted the importance of forging robust business connections, participating in trade activities, and making strategic investments to unlock new markets and stimulate economic growth.
In his goodwill address, Mr. Tunde Mabogunje, Regional Sales Director of Dangote Cement PLC, Lagos/Ogun, reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting Ogun state and OGUNCIMMA. He assured continuous support from the Dangote Group, stating, “The Group is dedicated to enhancing the prosperity of Nigeria by creating opportunities for Nigerians and businesses in the country.”
Mabogunje also announced special offers for visitors to the Dangote Group’s pavilion, where products from various Dangote companies were available at discounted prices. He further revealed that the Dangote Refinery would be featured in the next edition of the Trade Fair, showcasing the company’s commitment to future partnerships and growth opportunities.
Governor Dapo Abiodun, who visited the Dangote pavilion, commended the company and other supporters for their contributions to the Trade Fair, emphasizing its role in stimulating economic growth in Ogun State.
