DEPOWA President, Mrs. Oghogho Musa, Embarks on Uplifting Mission at NAFRC

In a heartfelt visit on January 24, 2024, Mrs. Oghogho G Musa, the President of Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), expressed her commitment to impacting lives during her courtesy call to the Commandant Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Air Vice Marshal AN Amesinlola.

Commencing the visit, Mrs. Musa shared insights into her vision as the 15th President of DEPOWA. She articulated her deep-rooted desire “to see women and girls become productive contributors to family and society, driven by a deep sense of values and a hard-working spirit.”
This vision, she emphasised, underlines her dedication to making a positive impact on humanity.
During her stay in Lagos, Mrs. Musa unveiled a significant initiative at NAFRC—the commissioning of the Grinding and Milling Shop. This project, spearheaded by Mrs. Grace Amesinlola, the Coordinator of Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre Officers’ Wives Association, aims to contribute to the empowerment and well-being of the community.
AVM AN Amesinlola, the Commandant of NAFRC, expressed gratitude for the visit and commended DEPOWA members for maintaining a serene home front while their spouses are actively engaged in national duties. He acknowledged Mrs. Musa’s remarkable efforts toward uplifting vulnerable segments of society.
The visit included poignant moments of souvenir presentations and group photographs, symbolising the unity and collaborative spirit between DEPOWA and NAFRC.
