EFCC Nabs Sule Muhammad in Kano Over Alleged Mosque Account Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested one Sule Muhammad, a resident of Kano State, over the alleged diversion of mosque funds.

According to preliminary findings, Sule Muhammad reportedly removed the official mosque bank account details and replaced them with his personal account, leading to the misdirection of donations meant for the mosque.
The arrest followed complaints from members of the community after irregularities were discovered in the mosque’s financial records. EFCC operatives swung into action and took the suspect into custody for questioning.
He is currently being investigated by the Commission and is expected to be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
Community leaders have commended the swift intervention of the EFCC and called for transparency and accountability in the management of religious funds.
