Elderly Landlady Allegedly Assaults Tenant Amid Housing Dispute
An altercation reportedly occurred between a female tenant and her 81-year-old landlady, who allegedly assaulted the tenant during a confrontation at their residence.

According to accounts from a neighbour and the tenant’s sister, the landlady had issued a quit notice to the tenant approximately two months ago. While the tenant was in the process of moving out, the landlady allegedly blocked her from leaving the compound without providing a clear explanation, despite claims that the tenant had no outstanding rent.
The dispute escalated as the elderly landlady reportedly punched the tenant multiple times. Witnesses said the tenant did not retaliate, and the landlady maintained her position throughout the confrontation, demonstrating restraint despite the provocation.
Authorities have yet to comment on the incident, and further investigations are expected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the dispute.
