Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer of Tesla and one of the world’s most influential technology entrepreneurs, has made history as the first individual to attain a net worth of $638 billion.
According to data from Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Musk’s fortune has surged dramatically, recording a 42.7 percent increase within a year since December 2024. The rise further cements his position at the top of the global wealth rankings, placing him far ahead of other billionaires.

The index shows a significant gap between Musk and his closest rival, Google co-founder Larry Page, who ranks second with an estimated net worth of $265 billion. Musk’s current valuation is approximately 140.75 percent higher than Page’s, underscoring the scale of his financial dominance.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin follows closely in third place with a net worth of $246 billion, while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ranks fourth at the same valuation.
