Fatima Tajudeen Honoured at Inspire Her Conference for Women Empowerment Advocacy
Her Excellency, Hajiya Fatima Abbas Tajudeen, has been honoured with a distinguished award in recognition of her contributions to women’s empowerment, social inclusion, and community development.

The award was presented at the 2026 Inspire Her International Conference held at NICON Luxury Hotel.
Speaking as Special Guest of Honour and award recipient, she expressed gratitude to the organisers, describing the conference theme, “Women Rising Through Barriers: Igniting Excellence and Strength for Generational Legacies,” as timely and reflective of the challenges many women continue to face.
She stressed that sustainable empowerment must be rooted in discipline, responsibility, and self-reliance, urging women to see themselves not only as beneficiaries of support but as creators of opportunities and drivers of value in society. She dedicated the award to Nigerian women, commending their resilience and contributions to national development.
Highlighting ongoing initiatives, she noted that the Fatima Tajudeen Abbas Foundation continues to equip women with practical skills in entrepreneurship, vocational training, and financial literacy to promote long-term independence.
She also commended the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the advocacy efforts of Oluremi Tinubu for their support toward women and vulnerable groups. Additionally, she praised the 10th House of Representatives under the leadership of Abbas Tajudeen for advancing women’s inclusion in legislative leadership.
According to her, the recognition serves not just as an honour but as a renewed call to strengthen efforts toward empowering women, building stronger families, and creating lasting generational impact.
