The 26-year-old defeated fellow finalist Fads in a thrilling grand finale after a highly competitive 13-week culinary journey, earning the coveted MasterChef Nigeria trophy and a grand prize worth ₦73 million.

The final challenge required both contestants to prepare a three-course menu that represented their personal culinary identity, creativity and growth throughout the competition. Favy impressed judges Chef Stone and Chef Eros with her exceptional cooking techniques, presentation, originality and ability to tell a story through food.

Her winning menu featured smoked salmon with potato mash and roasted bell pepper soup as the starter, a dish that demonstrated her confidence, innovation and attention to detail, ultimately securing her victory.

Throughout the competition, Favy distinguished herself through determination, creativity and consistency. She also made history as the first contestant to win the MasterChef Nigeria Immunity Pin, a special advantage that helped her secure a place in the semi-finals before progressing to the grand finale.

MasterChef Nigeria, which premiered earlier in the year, represents the first Nigerian version of the internationally acclaimed cooking reality show. The competition has provided a platform for talented Nigerian chefs to showcase their culinary skills, creativity and passion for food.

With her victory, Favy has not only claimed the first MasterChef Nigeria title but has also inspired a new generation of young Nigerians to explore the possibilities within the culinary industry.
