FG Begins Development of 2,000-Unit Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Lagos
The Federal Government has commenced the development of a proposed 2,000-unit housing estate, known as Harmony Renewed Hope City, in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, under its Renewed Hope Housing Programme.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqha Rabe Darma, performed the groundbreaking ceremony, describing the project as a demonstration of the government’s continued commitment to expanding access to affordable housing across the country.
The proposed estate will comprise two-, three- and four-bedroom housing units designed to provide more Nigerians with access to decent and affordable homes.
The project will receive 90 per cent support from the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), with financing available at an affordable single-digit interest rate.
