FG Launches Three Digital Platforms to Boost Transparency, Public Sector Reforms
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, has launched three digital platforms designed to strengthen transparency, accountability and public sector reforms across Nigeria.
The platforms are the FGN Reforms Tracker, the National Strategy for Public Service Reform (NSPSR) and the Knowledge Repository Tool App.
Speaking at the launch, Senator Akume said the digital platforms would enable Nigerians to monitor government reforms, policies and projects in real time while providing Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) with effective tools to track implementation and measure performance.
He explained that the initiative is aimed at improving coordination, promoting accountability and ensuring that government programmes are implemented efficiently.
To ensure the success of the initiative, the SGF directed all MDAs to appoint dedicated desk officers responsible for updating the FGN Reforms Tracker on a monthly basis to guarantee timely and accurate reporting on reform activities.
Senator Akume reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to delivering measurable results through effective policy implementation, improved transparency and enhanced service delivery.
According to him, the digital platforms reflect the Federal Government’s determination to strengthen governance, improve institutional performance and ensure that public sector reforms translate into tangible benefits for Nigerians.
