Foundation Honors 7 frontline community health workers in Bauchi

The Aminu Magashi Garba (AMG) Foundation has presented awards to seven frontline community health workers in Bauchi State, recognizing their exceptional dedication, hard work, and patience in delivering quality healthcare services.

Speaking at the AMG 3r award of excellence ceremony on Thursday in Bauchi, Dr. Aminu Magashi, founder of the foundation, praised the recipients for their selflessness and tireless efforts.

He said the awardees, selected from various health facilities across the state, demonstrated remarkable commitment to their duties, overcoming challenges and showing empathy towards patients.

“These health workers are the backbone of our healthcare system,” Dr. Magashi said. “Their dedication and compassion inspire hope and trust in our communities.

He said nine awardees were also selected in Kano for onward presentation next week in Kano.

Dr. Magashi said the Foundation aims to promote excellence in healthcare delivery and recognize the contributions of frontline health workers in the country.

“This award serves as a motivation to continue providing quality healthcare services,” Shahura Aliyu Giade, one of the awardees, said.

The ceremony was attended by state government officials, healthcare professionals, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) Media among others.
