Fuel Relief: Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol to N1,075, Diesel to N1,430 Nationwide

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a significant reduction in the prices of its refined products, effective immediately. The move comes as part of the refinery’s commitment to responsive pricing aligned with global market trends.

Under the new structure, the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) has been lowered from N1,175 to N1,075 per litre, while the coastal price drops from N1,150 to N1,028 per litre, a reduction of N122. Diesel prices have also been cut from N1,620 to N1,430 per litre, a decrease of N190.

In a statement, the refinery emphasized that the price adjustment reflects the decline in global crude oil prices. “All our crudes are priced on global benchmarks with a modest premium, and foreign exchange payments are made at prevailing market rates with no subsidy,” the statement read.

The management highlighted its record of supporting Nigerians, noting that in 2025, the gantry price was reduced eight times, with only two increases, citing “economic patriotism” and a commitment to the welfare of the Nigerian people.

Dangote Refinery affirmed its dedication to strengthening national energy security while considering the economic realities facing citizens across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The refinery reassured Nigerians that its pricing system remains fair, transparent, and responsive to fluctuations in global markets.

Signed,
Management, Dangote Petroleum Refinery
