Fusion 774 Endorses Mohammed Tukur Buratai for Borno Assembly Seat
Fusion 774, a political and socio-economic advocacy group supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially endorsed Captain Mohammed Tukur Buratai for the Borno State House of Assembly seat representing Biu Constituency in the forthcoming general elections.
Capt. Buratai is the son of former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Yusuf Buratai, and is described by the group as a candidate with a strong background in service, discipline, and national development.
In a statement issued by the group’s leadership, Fusion 774 said Buratai’s decision to seek elective office reflects a commitment to democratic representation and public service in Borno State.
“Capt. Buratai represents the calibre of young, experienced, and patriotic Nigerian youth that our democracy needs,” the group stated.
The organisation noted that his experience in the aviation sector and understanding of community challenges position him to contribute meaningfully to legislative discussions on peacebuilding, youth empowerment, education, security, and post-conflict reconstruction.
Fusion 774 further described his aspiration as “timely, courageous, and consistent with the values of service above self.”
The group also called on APC stakeholders, residents of Borno State, and Nigerians generally to support his ambition, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver effective representation for the people of Biu Constituency.
According to the statement, the group pledged to mobilise grassroots support across the constituency and promote a peaceful, issue-based campaign ahead of the elections.
Fusion 774 additionally encouraged young Nigerians to participate actively in politics and democratic processes, stating that the future of the country depends on competent and patriotic citizens stepping forward to serve.
