General AK Ibrahim receives National Order of Chadian Medal of Honour

Former Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Abdul Khalifa Ibrahim has received the National Order of Chad Medal of Honour presented to him by the Chadian Government.

The Medal was presented to him by Chadian President General Mahamat Idriss Deny Itno during his tour of duty in N’Djamena, Chad.

General AK Ibrahim while in Command as the Force Commander, conducted 2 major operations. Operation Sharan Fagge in December 2021 and the successful Operation Lake Sanity involving all the countries of the MNJTF from April to July 2023 which made significant inroads into the Tunbuns and led to the neutralization of a significant number of terrorists and the rescue of over a hundred civilians held hostage within the Tunbuns.

He was decorated by the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja at the closing ceremony of the 2nd and 3rd Quarter Chief of Army Staff Conference in Abuja.
