Gombe Governor Applauds Professor Yakubu as Bingham University’s First Emeritus Professor

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has celebrated the historic recognition of Professor Alhassan Mela Yakubu from Billiri Local Government Area as the first Emeritus Professor at Bingham University.
Professor Yakubu, a distinguished pediatrician, received this prestigious honor in acknowledgment of his remarkable contributions spanning over three decades in education, research, mentorship, and community service.
