Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State recently conducted an extensive inspection of the state-of-the-art maternal and childcare center located within the specialist hospital in Yola. The facility has received widespread acclaim for its exceptional quality and cutting-edge equipment.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri expressed his satisfaction with the facility, underscoring the critical importance of reducing maternal and child mortality rates. He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to establishing one of the nation’s premier maternal and childcare centers.
“The establishment of this world-class facility aligns with our vision of prioritizing maternal and child healthcare in Adamawa State,” Governor Fintiri stated during the inspection.
Furthermore, Governor Fintiri emphasized the necessity of employing experienced healthcare professionals to maintain the center’s high standards, ensuring optimal outcomes in maternal and child healthcare services.
Dr. Dauda Wadinga, the Managing Director of the Specialist Hospital Yola, highlighted the impressive array of medical amenities available at the hospital, including a standard laboratory, MRI, CT scan, and other state-of-the-art equipment. He also disclosed plans for a collaborative effort with the German government to conduct regular servicing of the machines, ensuring their longevity and efficiency.
