Health Living: DEPOWA urges women to engage in physical exercise (Photos)
The National president Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Musa, has urged women to engage in walking on a daily basis.
Mrs. Oghogho Musa made the call while speaking during the DEPOWA Aerobics with the theme Walk for Health on Saturday in Abuja.

“Walking is the best possible exercise; challenge yourself to work very fast for a healthy body.
She added that the importance of the walk is for them to continue to engage in exercise at home at their own pace.
However, she said the exercise can be done for at least 30 minutes, and gradually you graduate on a daily basis just the way you eat food.
“I’m just going to share a quote with you from Thomas Jefferson, the former President of the United States, he said. ” Working is the best possible exercise yourself to work very fast for a healthy body.
The benefit of walking is to have healthier body systems because when you engage in physical activity daily, you will be more productive.
She stated during the health talk to DECOWA women that she will sponsor 20 of them from the age of 40 and above who have not done their Manila this year their will go for their Manila next week.
The reason we are doing this is just for us to have a healthy lifestyle. And today, we have someone to testify that her blood pressure was high, and before we started this whole work, we did our blood pressure test.
“In the process of doing that, we notice that their blood pressure is all high, so we ask them to wait behind.
