INEC Presents Certificates of Return to Adeleke, Deputy After Osun Governorship Victory
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented Certificates of Return to Governor Ademola Adeleke and his deputy, Kola Adewusi, following their victory in the August 15, 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.
The certificates were presented at the INEC State Headquarters in Osogbo by the National Commissioner supervising Osun State, Professor Yinka Ajayi.
The formal presentation confirms Adeleke as the Governor-elect of Osun State and Adewusi as the Deputy Governor-elect, following the declaration of the election results by the electoral commission.
The development marks another key step in the electoral process as the governor-elect prepares to continue leading the state for another term.
The presentation was witnessed by supporters, political stakeholders and other officials who gathered at the INEC office in Osogbo.
