ITF DG Joins FMITI Agencies to Review Impact, Strengthen Strategic Communication
The Director-General and Chief Executive of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Dr Afiz Oluwatoyin Ogun, has joined heads of agencies under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) at a Strategic Messaging and Impact Review Session aimed at strengthening public communication on the achievements of the Ministry and its agencies under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The strategic session, convened by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, MFR, brought together agency heads and communication strategists to review measurable outcomes and develop a coordinated approach to communicating the impact of government programmes to Nigerians.
The Minister emphasised the need for government agencies to move beyond fragmented communication and provide a clearer, evidence-based account of their achievements in areas including MSMEs, artisan development, investment, exports, industrial development and business formalisation.
For the ITF, the session provided an opportunity to further highlight the Fund’s contribution to human capital and industrial development through technical and vocational skills training, artisan development and certification, youth employability and workforce development.
Dr Ogun’s participation underscores the ITF’s commitment to delivering impactful skills-development programmes across the country while ensuring that their outcomes are communicated through credible, measurable and verifiable evidence.
The ITF said it remains committed to strengthening skills development, empowering Nigerians and building a skilled workforce capable of supporting sustainable industrial growth in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Developing the Nation’s Human Resource.
