Kaduna Assembly Commends Governor Uba as 2026 Budget Prioritizes Rural Transformation, Inclusive Development
History was made today in Kaduna as the Kaduna State House of Assembly formally received the 2026 Budget of Consolidating Rural Transformation for Inclusive Development from Governor Uba Sani. The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, lauded the governor and his team for presenting a comprehensive and forward-looking budget that aligns with the administration’s vision of building a stronger and more prosperous state.
Speaking during the presentation, the Speaker described the 2026 budget as a clear reflection of the government’s commitment to expanding rural infrastructure, strengthening human capital development, and promoting inclusive growth across all communities. He noted that the Uba Sani administration continues to unify the state through purposeful leadership, stability, and shared developmental goals.
Rt. Hon. Liman further applauded the governor for restoring unity and renewed optimism across Kaduna State, as well as for ensuring a healthy working relationship between the Executive and the Legislature. He emphasized that the Assembly has enjoyed uninterrupted independence under the current administration—a gesture that has strengthened democratic institutions and enhanced the House’s ability to perform its constitutional duties.
In a historic acknowledgment, the Speaker stated that this is the first time in Kaduna State’s history that all Honourable Members have been granted the opportunity to directly execute constituency projects, describing it as a landmark policy that reflects Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to grassroots development and equitable governance.
He also praised the governor’s developmental strides, noting the revival of previously abandoned projects and the initiation of new ones that directly impact the lives of residents. The Speaker highlighted the administration’s strong emphasis on rural communities while ensuring balanced development in urban areas.

Rt. Hon.
