Kaduna May Still Host Next Years Beach Soccer Super 4 – Coordinator

Coordinator Nigeria Beach Soccer League and President African Beach Soccer Union, Mahmud Hadejia has given assurances that with the facility in place, hosts of this year’s edition, Kaduna stands a chance of winning the hosting right of next year’s Super 4.
He expressed this, while speaking at a press briefing ahead of the kick-off of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super 4 Finals, billed for the Murtala Square, Kaduna on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

According to him, several states are also bidding to host next year’s Super 4 but said Kaduna stands a good chance.
“We will announce winners of the bid at the end of the Super 4 on July 31,” he said.
Hadejia said that the league kicked off in Lagos in April and had three rounds in Kebbi and Kwara.
He explained that making it out to the Super 4 in Nigeria is a big achievement.
The Coordinator commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for approving the league, assuring that it would be an annual event.
He also commended the Kaduna State Government for partnering with the league.
“We have been having the cooperation of the Kaduna State Government. We are happy that we are having the first Beach Soccer Stadium, located here in Kaduna. We appreciate what the state government has done.

“The Kaduna Beach Soccer hosts have done a lot in ensuring that logistics are provided.
“We will also tell the whole world that Kaduna is peaceful and a good place to be,” he said.
He also commended the media for giving publicity to Beach Soccer.
