Governor Bello said there had been no attempt on his life in an interview he just gave to the media at his Abuja home.

He explained that although there was a small altercation between members of a military unit guarding the roadways and members of the Nigerian Police Force attached to his convoy, it happened while both units carried out their official security responsibilities.
