Kogi Guber: We’ll upload results on portal —INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has promised that it would upload polling unit results on its INEC Result Viewing portal.
This was announced during a press conference in Lokoja by Dr. Hale Longpet, Kogi state resident electoral commissioner.
The commission further stated that in order to guarantee that voting materials were available and that voting starts on time, it has made provisions for both land and sea transportation.

The Kogi governorship election is scheduled for this Saturday, where over two million registered voters are anticipated to cast ballots.
Also, about 3,508 polling places will be used for the election, which is distributed across the state’s 21 Local Government Areas.
The LGAs included Adavi, Ajaokuta, Ankpa, Bassa, Dekina, Ibaji, Idah, Igalamela/Odolu, Ijumu, Kabba-Bunu, Kogi, Lokoja, Mopamuro, Ofu, Ogori-Magongo, Okene, Okehi, Olamaboro, Omala, Yagba-East, and Yagba-West.
