Minister Says Partnerships, Investment Key to Building $1 Trillion Nigerian Economy
The Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, has emphasised the importance of strategic partnerships, innovation and purposeful investment in achieving Nigeria’s aspiration of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
Speaking at the Bank of Industry Development Partners’ Roundtable, the minister said Nigeria’s future depends not only on ambition but also on collaboration among government, development institutions, investors and the private sector.
She noted that the roundtable brought together development partners, policymakers and industry leaders to explore ways of mobilising the capital required to unlock the country’s vast economic potential.
According to her, a shared vision and coordinated efforts among stakeholders are critical to driving sustainable economic growth and national development.
Dr Uzoka-Anite reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to building an economy that creates opportunities, empowers businesses, promotes innovation and delivers broad-based prosperity for Nigerians.
She added that continued collaboration between the public and private sectors would play a vital role in strengthening investment, boosting productivity and supporting long-term economic transformation.
