Mohbad: Daddy Freeze backs police using teargas on protesters at Tollgate
A Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show host, Ifedayo Olarinde popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has said that there was nothing wrong with the Nigerian police using teargas to disperse protesters and fans of late Nigerian artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos.
He stated this in response to the dispersing of the people who conducted a candlelight walk in memory of the late singer on Thursday.
Recall that many fans of the late rapper, who trooped out on Thursday for the candlelight procession in memory of the rapper were allegedly dispersed with tear gas by the police at Lekki tollgate.
Some of the fans reportedly sustained various degrees of injuries.

Reacting, the broadcaster condemned the attitude of the fans and supporters of the late rapper who were turning the candlelight walk into protest, adding that everyone would have gone back to their various homes early enough to avert the police dispersing them with teargas.
While recalling the effect of the 2020 EndSars protest, he accused some Nigerian youths of looking for the slightest opportunity to carry out a demonstration.
He said, “Una no de think. Nigerians de hungry. You wan start protest make dem use am loot de remaining shops wey remain? Do you guys remember what happened during the #EndSars protest?
According to him, the country is too fragile to experience any protest of whatever kind, asking what they were protesting for. “What are you protesting for? Explain to me what you are protesting for.
