Moving Forward Together: GOC 6 Division Calls for National Unity Amidst Company Visit
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 6th Division, Nigerian Army, and Land Component Commander of Operation Delta Safe, Major General Jamal Abdussalam, issued a rallying cry for national unity during a courtesy visit from Best Land and Sea Services Limited.

He emphasising the importance of collective responsibility, General Abdussalam said, “The task of moving our nation forward is not solely for the government or the military, but for all of us, citizens and organisations alike.”
The visit served as an opportunity for both parties to acknowledge their contributions to the nation’s well-being.
General Abdussalam commended Best Land and Sea Services Limited, founded by the esteemed retired Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, for its philanthropic endeavors and expertise in drilling services.
He expressed the division’s desire to strengthen the existing partnership and leverage their combined efforts for the betterment of the country.
Building on the GOC’s sentiments, Managing Director Dauda Danjuma lauded the Nigerian Army’s service to the nation and particularly praised General Abdussalam for fostering a positive relationship with the company.
He highlighted their commitment to social responsibility, including training hundreds of drilling engineers free of charge—a testament to their dedication to national development.
