Musawa Hails Young Nigerians in Legislative Mentorship Initiative, Commends Gbajabiamila’s Vision
Nigeria’s Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has applauded the dedication and patriotism displayed by participants of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI), a youth-focused programme founded by the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Musawa, who addressed the fellows during their ongoing three-week intensive training, said she was inspired by the passion and commitment shown by the young Nigerians preparing for leadership roles in the legislature and public sector. She stated that their enthusiasm reflects the promise of a brighter future for the nation.
“At a time when Nigeria needs fresh ideas and courageous thinkers, these young people have chosen to equip themselves with the skills and discipline required to transform societies,” she said. “They represent a future built on integrity, innovation, and service.”
The minister extended heartfelt appreciation to Gbajabiamila for his vision in establishing the initiative in 2022, noting that LMI has grown into a powerful platform for nurturing future leaders. She praised his unwavering commitment to building a generation of public servants capable of strengthening Nigeria’s democracy and institutions.
Musawa congratulated the fellows currently undergoing the mentorship programme, describing their participation as a meaningful contribution to nation-building and a testament to their belief in Nigeria’s progress.
