Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, the President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), graced the recent Nigerian Army Finance Corps Regimental Dinner Night, Pulling Out Parade, and West African Social Activities (WASA) alongside several esteemed personalities.
The vibrant events unfolded from Thursday, January 11, to Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Central Finance Office Parade Ground in Apapa and the 65 Battalion Parade Ground at Bonny Cantonment, Victoria Island.
Distinguished guests included the Special Guest of Honour (SGOH), Major General AA Adetayo, a former Chief of Accounts and Budget, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, President of NAOWA, the celebrants, officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army Finance Corps, their families, and NAOWA members, among other notable attendees.
Key moments during the events included the pulling out parade, a special luncheon in honour of the celebrants, the presentation of souvenirs to the celebrants and other high-profile dignitaries during the regimental dinner night, captivating performances by cultural troupes representing all geopolitical zones during the WASA, and the capture of memories through group photographs.
