NASENI Boss Inspects SETI Project at Bayero University Kano, Expresses Satisfaction with Progress
The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, has returned to the Science, Engineering and Technology Innovation (SETI) site at Bayero University Kano to assess the level of progress on the project.

During the visit, Mr. Halilu expressed encouragement over the pace of work, the quality of construction, and the strong commitment demonstrated by teams on ground. He noted that the development reflects NASENI’s vision from the outset — to establish a world-class innovation hub that empowers young Nigerians to learn, create, and lead in critical areas such as artificial intelligence, green technology, and emerging innovations.
According to him, the SETI project represents more than just infrastructure development. It is a strategic investment in talent, ideas, and Nigeria’s future, designed to build capacity, confidence, and a pipeline of globally competitive innovators.
He reaffirmed NASENI’s commitment to delivering a platform that will serve as a catalyst for technological advancement, skills development, and sustainable innovation, positioning Nigeria as a key player in the global knowledge and technology ecosystem.
