New Orimolade Alumni President, Fatai Olatunde, Sets Bold Agenda for Growth, Unity

The newly elected President of Orimolade Alumni Group, Hon. Fatai Adebowale Olatunde, has outlined an ambitious vision for the next two years, focusing on accelerated growth, enhanced interventions, and transformative development of the Alma Mater.

Olatunde who made this known in his acceptance speech during the official inauguration of the Executive Committee of the Orimolade Alumni Group held at the school premises of Orimolade Commercial Grammar School, Ikirun, Osun State on Saturday assures of attracting more development to their alma mater and promised to build a united family that will respond to the needs of the members and consolidate its complete support to the Alma Mater.

The new President, congratulated the new executive members and charged them not to relent on their effort while admonishing them to ensure unity by working together with him in achieving common objectives.

According to Olatunde, “The election has come and gone, and now is the period for us to face the real task of moving our Alumni Association to a higher level of performance.

“The challenge facing us as a body is daunting but not unsurmountable and I intend to, along with my team, frontally tackle them, for that is the only way we can truly be deserving of your sacred mandate.

“Orimolade Commercial Grammar School, Ikirun has a unique identity of being a pacesetter in this part of the country and I shall not fail to uphold the noble objectives of this Association in this regard”.

“As beneficiaries of Orimolade Commercial Grammar School’s greatness, we must give back to reinforce our impact and relevance.

“Our mission is to restore and preserve
our institution’s excellence and we shall abide while I recognized and appreciate the unalloyed support of our members in diaspora which cannot be over emphasised “.

While speaking at the well attended and colourful ceremony, the immediate past Interim President of the association, Mr Kazeem Oladosu congratulated the new executives on their elections of piloting the affairs of their Alma Mater for the next two years.

Mr. Paul Taye Babalola, Chairman, Electoral Committee had earlier described the election of the team as free, fair and credible one that witnessed no crises or protest, saying Almighty God will uphold and favour them on their new assignment.

The newly inaugurated Exco includes: Hon. Fatai Adebowale Olatunde – President, Moses Olujinmi Olateru – Vice President, Pastor Olumide Oyewo Wumi – Secretary, Augustine Afolabi Olayiwola – Treasurer, Comrade Bola Oyewale – Public Relations Officer and Nelson Oluwasegun Adeleke – Financial Secretary.

Others are, Oluremi Veronica Oladapo – Auditor, Dr. Adeolu Farohun – Assistant General Secretary, Remilekun Adedoja – Social/Welfare Secretary and Prince Mukaila Gbolagade Adeyemi – Legal Adviser.

Also, dignitaries in attendance are : Apostle Philip Ademola Oyediran JP (General Leader) Saint Moses Orimolade C & C, Ikirun Conference, Osun State, Alhaji (Chief) S.A. Olatunde, the Atunluse of New Oko-Oba, Abule – Egba, Lagos and Alhaji (Bldr.) Isiaka Abimbola Oladele, MD/CEO – Oladele Construction Company Limited, an Abuja based Construction Company and the current Chairman of 1986 Set of Orimolade Commercial Grammar School, Ikirun among others.
