Nigeria Extends Condolences to Russia After Tragic Attack in Moscow

In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and compassion, Nigeria extends its deepest condolences to the people and Government of the Russian Federation following the devastating attack at the Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow.

The senseless violence claimed the lives of innocent individuals and left over a hundred others injured, plunging the nation into mourning.

“Amidst the sorrow and grief, the Government and people of Nigeria stand united in mourning alongside the victims of this tragic incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and we fervently pray for the swift recovery of those who sustained injuries in the attack,” the press statement signed by the Special Adviser, Media and Communications Strategy, Alksasim Abdulkadir, reads.

Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, extends Nigeria’s deepest sympathy and condolences to President Vladimir Putin and the entire Russian nation, offering solace and support during this difficult period.

“In this time of profound challenge and loss, Nigeria reaffirms her commitment to solidarity and brotherhood with the Russian Federation,” the minister said, adding that, “as nations come together in the face of adversity, may the bonds of compassion and unity serve as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of tragedy.”
