Nigerian Air Force Elevates Spokesperson AVM Edward Gabkwet and 36 Others

In a recent development, the Air Force Council (AFC) has given its nod to the promotion of 37 senior officers within the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to higher ranks. Among the promoted officers, 22 have ascended to the prestigious rank of Air Vice Marshal, while 15 have earned the rank of Air Commodore.

Notably, this list includes Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters. Other officers elevated to Air Vice Marshal positions encompass Abubakar Sule, Olayinka Oyesola, Abubakar Bukar, Razaq Olanrewaju, Olanrewaju Oyename, Ahmed Idris, Abdulrasheed Kotun, Chidiebere Obiabaka, Gambo Mbaka, Felix Uwakara, John Ukeh, Emeka Ashiegbu, Zayyan Usman, Mohammed Ibrahim, Babatunde Ajayi, David Dickson, Muhammed Sulaiman, Rasaq Shittu, Friday Ogohi, Henry Yurkusi, and Suleiman Usman.

Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), extends his congratulations to the newly promoted senior officers.
