Preliminary investigations revealed that Isah Abdul and his criminal cohort were responsible for the high-profile abduction of Yakubu Ibrahim Tagaho, also known as “Sarkin Noman Gaya,” on 6 April 2023, from his residence in Tagaho Village, Takai LGA. Notably, he maintains strong ties with other infamous kidnapping gangs, including the Danbul Fulaku gang operating in Takai LGA.
“As of now, Isah Abdul is in the custody of the Nigerian Air Force, undergoing thorough investigations. Authorities plan to transfer him to the appropriate legal channels for further proceedings,” the statemenr, signed by Air Vice Marshal Edward Tablet, Air Vice Marshal, Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force, revealed.
The arrest signifies a significant victory in the ongoing efforts to combat kidnapping activities and enhance security in the region.
