“From specialized operations in the North East to offensives in the North West and North Central, the Army’s efforts have yielded tangible results, restoring confidence in affected communities.
Moreover, the Army’s commitment to global peace was reaffirmed through its contributions to peacekeeping missions.
“Notably, the induction of troops into the UN Interim Security Force for Abyei underscores Nigeria’s dedication to upholding stability, both domestically and internationally.
He said with operational prowess, the Army remains steadfast in civil-military cooperation, striving to win hearts and minds through community-centric initiatives. Welfare enhancements, including affordable housing options and improved insurance schemes, underscore the Army’s commitment to its personnel’s well-being.
Acknowledging the indispensable support of political leadership, the COAS expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Assembly for their unwavering backing.
