Nigerian Army controls WaterWays Linking up to Chad, Cameroon- Investigation

The Nigerian Army has recorded another milestone in its fight against insurgency and terrorism in Northeast, Nigeria.

There was a time the ISWAP faction alias Khilafa Soldiers dominated a large portion of the Lake Chad waters but the story has now changed. This is because officers and men of OP Hadin Kai are now in control of the Lake Chad waterways covering Cameroon and Chad borders.

This platform conducted an investigation and found out that the Nigerian military is fully in control of the waterways.

OurNigeria News Magazine also verified this information with the Theatre Commander of the OP Hadin Kai, Major General Christ G Musa who confirmed that the Nigerian Military was controlling the Lake Chad waterways.

“Yes. We have opened the water ways linking up to Chad and Cameroon,” General Musa said.
