Nigerian Lady Launches Public Search for Father Who Disappeared Abroad 16 Years Ago
A young Nigerian lady has taken to social media to search for her father, who travelled abroad 16 years ago and never returned.
The lady, identified on TikTok as @favour-princess0, revealed that her father left the country when she was only two years old, and ever since then, all communication with him has been lost.

In an emotional TikTok post now circulating widely online, she explained that her mother always told her how deeply her father loved his children. Despite this reassurance, the years of silence have left her desperate for answers about his whereabouts.
According to her, she is no longer able to cope with the uncertainty and wants to know if her father is alive or dead, or whether he is doing well wherever he might be.
Her emotional appeal reads:
“You think you can hurt me? My dad left the country 16 years ago and all contacts suddenly disappeared. I’m tired of waiting for him to call us one day. I want to know my father— is he dead or alive? Is he fine? If this video goes viral, I will do a story time about how he travelled.”
Her post has sparked conversations and sympathy online, with many users expressing hope that social media may help reunite her with her missing father or provide much-needed closure.
