NITDA Engages Media Stakeholders to Unveil Strategic Roadmap for Digital Empowerment

Today, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) took a significant step towards fostering closer ties with the media by socialising its draft Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan 2024-2027 (SRAP 2.0).
The engagement aimed to go beyond headlines and establish stronger bonds with the fourth estate of the realm.
During the interactive session, the Director-General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, unveiled the agency’s draft SRAP 2.0, presenting a visionary plan aimed at positioning Nigeria as a digitally empowered nation.
The plan, he emphasised, holds immense potential and could mark the beginning of a transformative journey towards digital empowerment in Nigeria.
Abdullahi underscored how SRAP 2.0 reflects NITDA’s unwavering commitment to propelling Nigeria to premier status in the global digital economy. He highlighted the pivotal role of innovation in driving national prosperity and inclusivity, emphasising the need for digital transformation through innovation, enhanced accessibility, and the creation of an enabling regulatory environment.
