NNL: Wikki Tourists FC beats NAF FC 1-0

Wikki Tourists Football Club Bauchi has defeated Nigeria Air force Football Club Abuja 2-0 at the ongoing 2023/ 2024 Nigeria National League matchday 12
Our Correspondent reports that the match day 12 was played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium ATBS Bauchi on Sunday.
Wikki clinched the second position in group C with 23 points behind group leaders Elkanemi warriors of Maiduguri 24 points just one point difference between the two clubs.
It was a though match between Wikki Tourists and NAF FC they both tackle each team with vigor and energy to defeat opponent,
Wikki Tourists Mahmoud Aliyu scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the 83 minutes, this added to the fact that Wikki played 12 matches unbeaten.
Coach Yakubu Sambo of NAF FC said the match was good but they lost. I have to go home and check for our mistakes and make corrections before the next match.
“A normal match is either a loss or win , we lost this match as I said we are going to amend our mistakes by God’s grace,” he said.
Bauchi Wikki Tourists coach Mohammed Azeez said it was a difficult game because we beat them on their ground and they came with high spirit.
“Also is the first match into Ramadan so they have to play one to three matches before they acclimatise.
“The ultimate is we worn, we have prepared adequately for next match in Nasarawa ,” Azeez said.
