NNL : Wikki Tourists FC trash Yobe Desert 3-0

Wikki Tourists Football Club (FC) Bauchi on Sunday defeated visiting Yobe Desert Stars Football Club (FC) of Damaturu 3-0 in the ongoing 2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Our Correspondent reports that Wikii Tourists FC maintained its second position in group C with 26 points from 13 matches, played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS), Bauchi.
Wikki Tourists’ Yusuf Mohammed scored the first goal in the eleventh minute of the first half with a shot out of eighteen.
Klinsack Wanbark scored the second goal for Wikki in the 62nd minute of the match, Promise Damola secured the third goal for Wikki through Sunday Joseph inside eighteen in the 70th minute of the match.
Mr Jupiter Ernest, Technical Adviser to Yobe Desert of Damaturu in a post-match interview blamed his team for a weak game.
“Normally in a match you either win or lose in this we have lost, I identified our problems and we are going back home to ponder on it,” he said.
On his part, Wikki Tourists FC Technical Adviser Mr Mohammed Azeez said the match was fantastic with victory from their side.
“It was a great match we earned 3 points, 3 good goals for the team, despite the weakness we still made it, is a good outing as such,” he said.
