The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, led a delegation of the company’s management team on a courtesy visit to the President/Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, at the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State.

The high-level engagement focused on strengthening collaboration between NNPC Limited and Dangote Industries, particularly in areas of mutual strategic interest within Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

Discussions during the visit reportedly culminated in a renewed commitment by both organisations to deepen cooperation aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, boosting domestic refining capacity, and supporting Nigeria’s broader energy security objectives.

The Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, regarded as one of Africa’s largest industrial projects, is expected to play a pivotal role in reducing fuel import dependence and stabilising supply within the country.

Industry observers note that closer collaboration between NNPC Limited and Dangote Industries signals a positive step toward consolidating public-private partnerships in Nigeria’s energy landscape.
