NSCDC Reaffirms Commitment to Professional, Well-Trained Workforce
The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, has reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to developing a highly trained, disciplined and professional workforce capable of responding effectively to emerging security challenges.
Audi said the Basic Weapon Handling Training and Regimentation Course 12 forms part of the Corps’ continued investment in personnel development and capacity building.
According to him, the training is designed to strengthen discipline, operational competence, responsible weapon handling and overall readiness among personnel.
The initiative is also in line with the Commandant General’s vision of building an elite, well-trained and professionally oriented Corps equipped to effectively discharge its statutory responsibilities.
The NSCDC said the continued investment in personnel training would further enhance the Corps’ capacity to respond professionally and effectively to the evolving security needs of the country.
