Osun NAWOJ hails Gov Adeleke over appointment of OSBC DG/PS, General Managers, others

The Osun State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, has hailed Governor Ademola Adeleke over the appointment of the Director General and Permanent Secretary of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC, as well as the recent placement of General Managers and absorption of freelance staff into the Conglomerate.
This is as the association also eulogised the administration of Adeleke for upgrading OSBC Radio stations, with the provision of Digital Transmitters, and studios, alongside the approval of training for the media establishment personnel.
This was disclosed in the congratulatory remarks of Osun NAWOJ Chairperson, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola at the courtesy visit to OSBC Management team with the state executives and members of the association.
Ariwodola who told the Director General and Permanent Secretary, OSBC Conglomerate Mrs. Jolaade Igbaroola, and the management, that the association is happy to identify and rejoice with the OSBC Conglomerate on the recent development in the Corporation, noted that further enhancement of the cordial relationship with Osun State Broadcasting Corporation OSBC Conglomerate is apt.
The Osun NAWOJ 001, further reiterated the state Chapter’s commitment and support towards the continuous development of the state broadcasting outfit, while calling for the maximum support of the OSBC Conglomerate in empowering, training and developmental programs for women Journalists, women in general, as well as children in the Nigerian society.
While applauding the various people friendly policies of Governor Ademola Adeleke for the benefits of the good people of Osun state, she added that the association will partner OSBC on women and children developmental programs of the government.
Osun NAWOJ also extended it’s applaud to the OSBC Board Chairman, Engr Mayowa Oloso and the Special Adviser to the Governor on OSBC, Dr Femi Adefila for good leadership performances.
In her own response, the DG/PS OSBC Conglomerate, Mrs. Jolaade Igbaroola appreciated the Association for rejoicing with the Corporation, she charged the NAWOJ executives and members to continue to blow the trumpet of the good works of the administration of Sen. Ademola Adeleke, who recently procured six digital transmitters, made appointments of new General Managers, and announced the the absorption of freelance staff into the state civil service among others.
The DG/PS who called for the support of the executives and members of NAWOJ, stated that her doors is always open to advises and suggestions which would help in moving the state broadcasting outfit and state forward.
Present at the courtesy visit by Osun NAWOJ were the new General Managers and Directors, former NAWOJ Chairperson and leaders Mrs Motunrayo Ayegbayo, Yeye Funmilola Kalejaye, Olusola Egbodofo among others.
Other members of the Executive of Osun chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists include, Taiwo Kekere-ekun Vice Chairperson, Oluwaranti Ojewumi Secretary, Temitope Olayiwola Treasurer, Olayemi Olojede Financial Secretary and Aanuoluwapo Odedeji Assistant Secretary.
